Hotkey Helper

You can use the Hotkey Helper to find the correct hot key combination for a specific feature when you can't remember what the hot key is. Simply use the search box at the top of this page to search for the hotkey you require.

For example:

Search for "magnification" to find all the hotkeys that control magnification.
Search for "speak" to find all the speak keys available, both in general and in specific programs.
Search for "formula" to find the hotkey that speaks the Formula bar in Excel.

If you start a Hotkey Helper search with the ^ symbol (SHIFT + 6 on your keyboard), the Hotkey Helper will search application names rather than hot key descriptions. So the search phrase ^adobe will list all of the available hot keys in Adobe Reader.

To show all available hotkeys, enter ^* (SHIFT + 6, followed by SHIFT + 8 on your keyboard).

The results of your search are presented in tables. You can use your standard web browsing keys to review the results in the Hotkey Helper HTML window.

Your results are specific to your product version and current hotkey set.
